Can someone please tell me what kind of turtle this is?

I was thinking it might be some kind of painted slider or cooter because it looks like it has an orangish color on the top shell but i cant find it anywhere. Please help!

I love puzzles and you have just handed me a doozy. It's not a map turtle or YBS (they have black marks on the front half of the plastron only). My first thought was Heiroglyphic river cooter because of the black circles on the underside of the marginals. However, carapace shape and pattern are wrong. The general location in which you found it might help, although it could be a released or escaped pet. It probably is, as you suspect, one of the cooters.
