i live near hills and with all the rain we are having they are coming out and looking for dry shelter

You can get some cottonballs and coat them with peppermint oil (in the cooking section with spices) and put them in places where rodents come in and in the places they would hide. It will run them away without toxins and no stinky dead rats to deal with later!

if you don't have any house pets around (dogs/cats) put out poison bait. It works very well, but if there are any animals that may eat a rodent killed by poison, well i think you get the picture. Otherwise, get a cat that is a good mouser.

Was going to say cayenne pepper, but rain will wash it away. It works. . .between storms?
