Just make a light tempura batter,

dip the ENORMOUS spider in it,

lightly fry for about 2 minutes, enjoy.

(a little soy & chilli sauce helps !)

Look up the 'spider catcher', this thing is a lifesaver when it comes to these big spiders. It also is friendly towards the spiders and doesn't break their legs. It makes them incredibly easy to catch. It won an award from Prince Charles too, seriously check it out: 'The Spider Catcher'

Oh Good God I'm not sure. Sorry. But it does look massive! Lately I have been finding humongous stuff around like spiders and moths. Today my sister pointed out one massive Moth it was disgusting. Soon they will take over! Its disgusting.

It's a bog standard normal house or garden spider. It probably got fed up with the rain outside and moved in. Bless him.

Dont worry its not a tarantula.

P.S. WE HAVE BEEN PLAGUED BY MOTHS ETC HERE TOO AND SPIDERS (HARROGATE)

I had spiders like that one in my flat, and I live in south-east. I hope they're not harmful.

Looks like a "wolf" spider. Yes I know they can be HUGE and very quick, we had one in our front room and even my husband was a bit unsure because of its size!! Had to find a LARGE glass to get rid of it!!

Glad it looks like you captured then released it x

It looks like a male housespider, most surely Tegenaria domestica .

Please try to find pictures of it at google. You can take the name Tegenaria for your search. Surely you will find more Tegenaria species.
