I've tried googling it and everything but the animals were really specific.

Can you guys help me name some common, interesting endangered animals?
ex. Giant Panda, Polar Bear, etc.

A very interesting endangered animal is called the olm (Proteus anguinus). It is a blind cave salamander from Italy and is only found in a few locations in underground caves. Google it and check them out, they are pretty cool.
