i saw this bug that was about 2 inches and it was the shape of a small hookworm.the problem is that it don't have the mouth of a hookworm.it had about 10 super tiny black legs on egg side and it had black antennas that looked like shredded hay.it was black and it had a small patch of golden color near its head.ive searched through tons of bug id site but didnt find it.please help me

Adding to the problem is that you don't tell us where, what and how you found it. A photo also helps, that why they have bug specimens in museums, reading a a description is not quite the same.

your description does not offer me with enough information. however I will still answer it to the best of my ability.

by shape of small hookworm I assume you mean elongated

elongated+antennas+multiple tiny legs=millipede



this is the most I can make out of it.

where do you live? where did you find it? what does it do? we need a little bit more information on this.
