Help identifying two bugs (one flying, one a spider)?

One is a spider, one is a flying insect; links to pictures I took:

My location is northeast NY, near the Adirondack Mtns. The insect was found in the bedroom (a dehumidified room), the spider in the bathroom, on the shower wall. Both were found in June.

I already tried whatsthatbug.com for the spider (no small feat for an arachanphobe) but had no clue where to start for the flying one (which I'll admit is pretty cool looking).

The spider's long legs probably means it's a male. male spiders wander in search of females and have long front legs to keep a safe distance until the female indicates she is ready to mate. The photos were blurry but the unifrom cream color might mean it is a sack spider. These are very common and build sack shaped structures to hide in. They are also mildly poisionous, but it's an allergic reaction and people very in their sensitivity.



The insect looks like a moth but I spotted a netlike pattern on the wings. It might be a lace bug. These are sap sucking insects of the order hemiptera, also called "true bugs". Some bugs (like bedbugs) feed on people, but sap sucking bugs are only pests of vegetables and other plants.

Relax. spiders don't fly but they do have the ability to instantly disappear into a fabric fold. Whack away at a square foot area through the fabric. There is no poisonous or dangerous spider with two yellow legs.
