why do ask the "what would win" question about two completely different animals?

ive seen a bit if "what would win" questions about animals that have nearly in common to compare. i just put in an answer for "www a cougar or wolf" and obviously he does not relies that a cougar is a lone predator and a wolf hunts in a pack. same guy asked "www a hyena or a wolverine" wth same thing right there
