It's ECHIDNA. There are two genera, Tachyglossus and Zaaglossus. And only one species of platypus, Ornithorhynchus anatinus.

Actually there are 3 mammals that lay eggs. The platypus and the short-beaked echinda in Australia and the long-beaked echnida in Papau New Guninea.
